Since 1984 AJ's Seafood and Oyster Bar has been serving up fresh oysters and cold libations.
Some of you might remember AJ's way back in the day, when we shucked oysters off the deck behind a small trailer right on the Destin Harbor. Yes, that's where it all began! Now AJ's has grown into what most of you know today- A true Legend.
We have grown leaps and bounds over the years and our customers are a big part in all that.
Our customers requested a larger variety on our menu and we delivered. With three newly expanded kitchens AJ’s restaurant has become a culinary institute to reckon. One of the kitchen additions is an open air kitchen we call The Oyster Palace located upstairs in Club Bimini. It’s THE perfect place to snack on some fresh Apalachicola oysters while overlooking the Destin Harbor’s East Pass.
Dining at AJ’s Seafood is a true experience to all the senses.
One of the most popular events at AJ’s is watching the charter boats roll in with their daily catch. You can even cook your catch at AJ’s! If you catch it one of our boats or any of the charter boats on the Harbor-we will be glad to serve it up your way with coleslaw, and hushpuppies.
There is lots of hustle and bustle on the docks behind AJ’s.
We are home the AJ’s SeaBlaster, The Blackbeard Sailboat, and the beautiful Daniel Webster Clements Sailboat. These adventure boats are packed filled of dolphin- loving, sun-loving fun. It is definitely a crowd pleaser. We, at AJ’s believe that if the kids are happy, then Dad is happy, and we all know who that makes the happiest-good old mom. And if Mom is happy, then everyone is happy!
While you’re on the docks you are sure to find that music fills the air at AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar.
Tiki Village plays home to some of our favorite acoustic bands. Above you will hear live music trickling over the edges of Club Bimini down on the docks. As one of the 100 top Nightclubs in America, Club Bimini has become the place to see and be seen. This place really knows how to throw a party! Club Bimini boasts spectacular sunsets and the areas’ best house bands, Mike and the Micros, Black Eyed Blonde and Jones and Company set AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar. Plus, our weekly featured bands playing Thursday –Sunday. It is THE perfect place to grab a Bimini Bash, our signature cocktail and let loose with friends and family.
